In addition to the Health Care Summer Institute (HCSI) and the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP: Medicine Track) the College of Medicine offers other pipeline programs that are research focused.
The Summer Neuroscience Internship Program(SNIP) aims to support college students from diverse backgrounds who seek to pursue doctoral (Ph.D.) training in neuroscience and prepare for rewarding careers in biomedical research, education and enterprise.

The ASPET Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program: The SURF Program at UF is designed to give students a research experience that focuses on Pharmacology & Therapeutics and includes both drug discovery and biological therapies. It is an immersive, 10-week program with mentored independent research, course work, and enrichment activities.
